Donate Breast Milk in These Texas Locations

Texas breast milk donation locations in Waco, Bryan, Corpus Christi, Edinburg, and Brownsville

Did you know that you can save the lives of babies born too soon and too small with your breast milk donation? The Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin is a nonprofit organization that relies on healthy, lactating women to donate their extra breast milk to preterm and ill infants in need when a mother cannot provide her own breast milk. If you are interested in becoming a milk donor and real-life superhero, fill out the form on this page to initiate a simple screening process to determine your eligibility to donate precious milk. Someone from the milk bank will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your information. The following includes information about how and where to donate breast milk if you live in Texas outside of AustinHouston or San Antonio.

Getting Your Milk to MMBA

  • You must be approved as a milk donor with the Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin before you begin dropping off milk. View preparation tips before you drop off your milk.
  • The Milk Bank has milk collection sites, called milk depots, around Texas. If you live somewhere in Texas outside of AustinHouston, or San Antonio, please see the depot locations below to determine whether there is a site located near you. At some milk depot locations, weekend or later day drop-off can be arranged. Please call the specific location listed below for more information.
  • You don’t live near any of our Texas milk depot collection sites? Out-of-area donors are approved on a case-by-case basis. The minimum initial donation for out of town donors is 200 ounces, with the expectation that the donor will continue to donate. Out-of-area donors should have access to dry ice (for which we reimburse). We also supply the coolers for shipping. Contact Laura Tankersley to request a cooler.
