Still breastfeeding? Donate milk and save lives!

Did you know that you can save the lives of babies born too soon and too small with your breast milk donation? The Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin is a nonprofit organization that relies on healthy, lactating women to donate their extra breast milk for tiny babies in need. Over the past 16 years, the Milk Bank has received, pasteurized and dispensed over 3.5 million ounces of lifesaving, safe donor human milk—that’s approximately 10.5 million meals—to preterm and ill infants whose mothers cannot provide breast milk.  Human milk is especially important for premature or sick babies, who are at 10 times the risk for devastating intestinal infections if they are fed formula instead of human milk.

We need your help to save more babies’ lives!
