Micro-preemie Victoria’s first meal was donor human milk, fed through a tiny syringe. Eventually, she grew strong enough to drink her donor milk through a bottle, and now she’s a healthy, beautiful 5 year old.

In 2011, Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin created our Lactation and Tears program to support grieving milk donors and their families. In 2021, we continued that support through the creation of a memorial garden. This memorial garden contains more than 700 stones etched with the names of bereaved mothers’ babies and provides a space for
